Ultra-lightweight Thermal Sight

In light of these requirements, our team of researchers designed and developed a robust thermal sight based on an innovative, ultralight catadioptric lens integrated with a standard INO IRM160A infrared detector to make a robust, energy efficient system. Operational day and night, this infrared targeting device can identify a target at a great distance using an oversampling system and send relevant information to the local command center by digital RF link. The new device, which is adapted for operation in hostile environments, fulfills all the client’s requirements.

Infrared Camera Module

INO’s IRXCAM camera module is based on a generic camera core that can be adapted to various detectors. It integrates state-of-the-art uncooled microbolometer detectors ranging from 160 x 120 pixels to 1024 x 768 pixels for high-resolution and high-sensitivity imaging in the LWIR range. The IRXCAM meets user needs with superior resolution, high image quality, flexibility, and ease of use. Users enjoy access to the full range of detector settings for optimal performance and can also access raw data in order to select the most appropriate data processing method for their application. Furthermore, output is available in various formats to simplify the evaluation, and eventually, the integration process. To adapt the IRXCAM module to a new detector, only the proximity electronics have to be modified or designed, which minimizes development time and costs.
